The country house designated non-smoking has 35 bedrooms equipped with a hairdryer clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Televisions are provided in the bedrooms. Non en-suite bedrooms are also available. The Country House has a large lounge with stunning sea views and the croquet lawn extends the length of the house to an attractive elevated terrace overlooking a golf course and the beach. Guests can relax in the bar lounge and conservatory. Meals are served in an informal friendly atmosphere at tables for up to 10 guests. A three-course dinner is served at 7 to 7.30pm. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered. To allow you to make the most of your touring or walking holiday a self-select picnic lunch is provided. Street parking is subject to availability. Please notify the Country House in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. The Country House is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday interested in discovering Northumberland's Heritage Coast or Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Other nearby attractions include Bamburgh castle Cragside House and the holy island of Lindisfarne. This Country House has a 4-star Visit Britain rating.
