International Kite Festivals
This 2 day event held in Washington/Sunderland plays host to kite makers and fliers from around the world with a range of entertainment and activities for all ages

Mouth of Tyne Festival
A 2 day celebration includes a  range of street performances, music and entertainment from around the world, located on both the North and South of the Tyne organised jointly by the respective councils

Sunderland Air Show
The North East premier air show is a 2 day programme of air displays, high speed flying, acrobatics from world famous teams such as the Red Arrows and Blue Eagles.

Gateshead Flower Show
This 3 day event set at Gateshead Central Nursery has over 300,000 square feet of Flowers, shrubs, plants and vegetables together with a range of activities such as craft stalls, floral displays, live music and theatre, bouncy castles and face paintings.
